About Maccabi Academy

Opened in 2006, Maccabi Academy is Western North Carolina's only Jewish day school. As a community asset, we welcome all Jewish families, regardless of affiliation or level of observance. The school serves children K-5, with a warm, community-centered environment and an integrated Global Concepts curriculum that enables and encourages each student to exercise multiple intelligences, and to relate individual subjects to a much broader context. Our pluralistic Jewish environment focuses on the history, language, values and texts that are shared by all Jews.
