Welcome to Maccabi Academy's Judaics program, directed by Moreh Sandra Hershson. As with our secular studies, Judaics is divided in an Upper School (grades 3-5) and Lower School (grades K-2).

Depending on the grade level, students spend between one and two hours each day (except Fridays) learning about their shared history, culture, and texts. Areas of regular Judaic study include:

• Hebrew Language
• Torah and Jewish Texts
• Holidays and the Life Cycle
• Shabbat
• Prayer
• Middot (Jewish values)
• Israel
