Financial Aid

Multi-Year Flexible Tuition Program At Maccabi Academy, we realize the financial burdens placed on families who want a Jewish day school education for their children. We are resolved to do everything possible to not only make a quality Jewish day school education affordable but to help Jewish families keep their children at Maccabi. So where other private schools use a financial aide system that requires families to re-apply for aide year after year (a process that is both uncomfortable and intrusive), Maccabi Academy has adopted a Multi-Year Flexible Tuition program. Here's how it works: A family who feels they cannot afford to pay the anual tuition is encouraged to fill out a discreet financial form that will be screened by PSAS, a third party administrator located out of state. The Director of Admissions and Recruitment then meets with the family in order to determine what the they feel they are capable of paying. The Director of Admissions and Recruitment then works with the family, as well as the school's Finance Committee, to craft a year-by-year tuition plan based on what the family feels they are capable of paying. Once the plan is agreed upon, the burden of requesting aide is eliminated for as long as the child remains at Maccabi. The tuition plan remains in effect provided that a family's finances remain within a pre-established range. The only documents required on an annual basis is a copy of the family's annual tax returns and assessment notices. |
